In his youth, Darren Ellis
whiled away his life playing video games, watching movies and writing
stories, and very little has changed. Now 27 and with slightly less
hair, he muses on his life while snuggled into a boxing glove-shaped
beanbag in his home in Chester.
As time goes on, he finds himself increasingly published, with shorts
appearing soon in books from Midnight Studios and Karnivore Comics as
well as his contribution to this anthology. He hopes the trend will
continue with his current projects, Come & See, a comic book
comedy drama about the book of Revelation, and Empty, a fantasy
horror novel for children.
He understands that he should probably get out more, but aside from
the occasional pub visit, doesn't really want to. |
